New fully automated line for single-sheet fresh filled pasta.
The story of Grandi Pastai Italiani began in 1961 with a small workshop of filled pasta. Over the years, the range is extended and the production capacity increases. In 1969 they began the process of internationalization that gradually lead to export 60% of production to 50 countries around the world. Today Grandi Pastai Italiani has a capacity of about 150 tons of pasta a day in their three facilities.
The plant in Sesto ed Uniti (Cremona) specializes in filled pasta production; here Pavan has recently installed the fourth complete line for the production of 1,000 kg/h of tortellini.
This line is composed by the mixing tank with scraps recovery system that feeds the the automatic distribution system of the dough to the four sheeting and forming machines (SPW540+MRW540). Then the formed pasta is transferred to the thermal treatment system: the PV200 pasteurizer and the E200 dryer assure an optimized management of vapor and heat, so that the energy consumption is significantly reduced. After passing through the cooler, the product reaches the clean room, ready for packaging.
